Rockstar Energy Respect the Hustle

Rockstar Energy is all about championing the hustle. So when Super Bowl LVI hit the brand’s hometown in LA, they asked us to find a way to meaningfully champion locals. And we chose the people that keep the city going, street food vendors — they were up against increasingly strict city codes, regulations, and prohibitive fees that threatened their ability to legally earn a living.

With the help of Revolution Carts, we supplied LA street food vendors with brand new, fully-licensed carts, designed by some of LA’s best street artists. Then, we invited the vendors to show their new carts (and their tamales) off at the Rockstar Mercado in Inglewood during the week leading up to the big game.

Everything was fire, from the food to the installations to the  performances to the Rockstar merch kits we gifted the vendors when they arrived. In addition to the video below, we built social promotion assets and on-site biographies for each vendor

I even made a masked cameo on a local Telemundo broadcast showing the event! Check the first video @ 0:11.
And we earned a Shorty Award for our work!
