Apple TV+ Marketing Slate 2023

Apple TV+ and Dentsu embarked on a partnership to take their title marketing to the next level and insert their shows into the cultural conversation. And while we had large aspirations, we realized that some of our moonshots were aimed too close to the moon. So we did what every good agency would do in lookingWhile there were no huge tactics or activations, we carefuly curated bespoke video captures (as seen below) and created editorial content as each show released on platform.

Here are some selects from the titles I worked on below!

MASTERS OF THE AIR
Masters of the Air is Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and
Gary Goetzman’s third series chronicling the terrors experienced by WWII’s
American soldiers.

We built their social marketing campaign, inclusive of a full social rollout and a unique content capture opportunity.

We sourced real love letters from American soldiers to their love interests back home and had the stars of the show read them. The impact on fans of the actors, fans of the show, and the families of the soldiers was immense.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH
How can a global streaming brand use their art to celebrate the future of Black people? They show how they take up space (literally).

Janie Stolar Marie Bardi Reyn Ou and myself put our collective “foot” in this one.

The future is vast. Take up space.

STEPHEN CURRY:
UNDERRATED

To honor the release of this title, we were able to steal some time from Stephen Curry and Ryan Coogler to find some fun on the promo tour.

With a batch of challenging questions and two willing participants with great chemistry, we ended up with a great result.

PS. As a Bay Area native and avid dubs fan, to interview two goats of the region myself was a ONCE in a lifetime win for me.

Huge shout out to Ashley Tyra, CD on all of these projects +
